Legal & General's Stakeholder Pension provides great value for money.

Annual Management Charge (AMC)

The basic AMC is tiered according to the value of your fund. So, as your fund grows the rate of charge decreases.

£25,000 to £50,000	0.9%
£50,000 and over	0.8%

* An additional Temporary AMC of 0.5% a year will apply for the first 10 years of the Plan or until the accumulated pension fund value first reaches £15,000 at the start of a plan month, whichever is the sooner (0.2% if no commission is available).

For example, if your investment in Legal & General funds is worth £45,000 throughout the year, the AMC would be (£25,000 x 1.0%) + (£20,000 x 0.9%), which is £250 + £180 = £430.

If you decide to invest in any investment funds not managed by Legal & General, an additional AMC (currently 0.15% a year) will apply to your investment in those funds only
The maximum total AMC in any plan year is currently 1.5% a year of the pension fund value for the first 10 years of the plan and 1% after that
The fund value bands and the tiered AMC structure may be varied or removed at Legal & General's discretion, but only within the permitted maximum charge

Depending on your level of contribution, Legal & General may pay variable amounts of commission to The Share Centre each month from the outset until the end of the plan. The payment will be based on 0.40% pa of the value of the plan at the monthly valuation date. These variable amounts will be paid out of the deductions specified in the table above and will be shown in your personal illustration, which Legal & General will send to you when you apply.

Dealing charge - none

Buying and selling funds within your Stakeholder Pension is currently free and unlimited.

Exit charge - none

There are no early exit penalties.
